✅ Good News from Your Local Policing Team ✅

Sutton Trinity have had another busy week responding to local concerns and issues.

The local Dedicated Neighbourhood Officers (DNO's) as well as the sergeant started the week with a meeting with Cllr Richard PARKIN to discuss issues that had been raised to him. There is local contact between the Trinity Team and the councillors, however just a reminder to report policing incidents direct to ourselves, via 101, 999 or even crime stoppers.

The Trinity Team have then continued their patrols around the Sutton Town Centre and also Sutton Park, due to local concerns surrounding ongoing incidents. If you see us out and about, please come and say hi, and feel free to raise any concerns you have with us. These patrols will continue throughout the Summer and the months following this. Don't forget we have Walkie Talkies in Sutton Park on 13th August 2026, where officers will be walking around Sutton Park whilst addressing any concerns. 

Further to this, PCSO's from the Trinity Team have conducted another successful police surgery within the Town Centre. Make sure to look out for future dates if you missed this one!

The Trinity Team have also arrested another shoplifter, who they identified as responsible for a number of thefts in a local store. The offender was charged for these offences and sent to court, they also had an outstanding court warrant, which has now been dealt with. The Trinity Team will continue to identify any offenders in the local area and work hard to prevent further offending. Several suspected stolen items have also been seized during this week, following stop searches conducted by the team. 

Following information from a member of the public, a stolen motorbike was also located within Rectory Park, less than 24 hours after it had been stolen. It had been stolen from Staffordshire's force area and dumped within Rectory Park. This has now been recovered, and the relevant investigations are ongoing. 

Trinity Team would also like to reassure residents that during their working week, there have not been any reports of burglary in a dwelling. Trinity Team will continue to patrol key areas and work on relevant information and intelligence to prevent further incidents.
